Urban Ecology Center: Reclaiming Nature

This award-winning GREEN facility was designed especially for school programs and community use.

A nearby site provided available timbers for the structural components of the project. The Architect and Engineer picked thru the stock pile of timbers to determine the species/grade of wood to be used.

The lookout tower, composed of steel, allows visitors to take in panoramic views of the river providing further educational opportunities.
