Biography:
In 2005, Harwood Engineering complimented its firm by adding civil engineering consulting services. Based on Mr. Olejniczak’s many years of experience as a local municipal engineer and coordinator of department operations, Tom was the perfect choice to start up and head the department. Tom has an extensive background in design, construction management, and project coordination. Tom has managed a number of civil project types; including; stormwater management, all forms of site development, subdivision design, municipal entitlement process, grading and erosion control plans, and construction permitting to name a few. Recently Tom has advanced to the position of President for the engineering firm, Tom oversees all departments, operations, and staff in this role.

Fun Fact:
We’ve all heard the expression “If these walls could talk.” Well, the walls in Tom’s 1800’s farmhouse speak to him. During renovation projects, he finds newspaper clippings, magazines and even someone’s hidden homework. His neighbors tell him it’s haunted by cigar smoking card players, but Tom has yet to see an ace holding shadow billowing smoke rings!
