Biography:

Luke has 15+ years of experience in the landscape architectural field working in numerous sectors;  from development firms,  design/build contractors, to design firms.  Luke’s construction experience and knowledge has molded and developed his design philosophy to a practical yet creative approach.  His experience includes master planning, detailed site design and comprehensive landscape plans for commercial and multi-family developments, senior living campuses, courtyards/plazas, streetscapes, and community parks.

As Director of Landscape Architecture Luke performs an important role in the successful outcome of a wide variety of projects.  Luke works directly with the Harwood Engineering team along with Architects and strives to create a seamless blend between disciplines, delivering a complete and creative design package to our clients.  Luke’s passion is designing people places and seeing his designs evolve from plan to reality, creating inclusive outdoor spaces for all to enjoy.

Luke conducts site inventory/analysis and creates conceptual and final landscape plans, color Photoshop renderings, and 3D Sketchup design models.  He has years of experience managing the design and construction of projects and has shown he can successfully and effectively communicate with clients regarding design preferences, contracts and budgets.
